I recently finished The Autobiography of Malcolm X : As Told to Alex Haley (528 pages). It was interesting reading it right after a book about Johnson's presidency. It was also bizarre to watch my own knee jerk response to some of the speeches that were given. People talk about that time in our history from a single point of view which is normal. It just makes it difficult to actually grok what was going on outside of what is in the history books.

I am tired. Orientation ended up being ten straight hours today, and only about the last hour of it was interesting and let us get up out of chairs. Therefore, I read the first sentence ("The Autobiography of The Autobiography...") and came up with this whole mental image of a book written all about the life of another book. Brain hurtie.

Sorry I twisted your brain in circles. It is an interesting idea for a book though.

Re: Heh
I kinda thought so too! For example, my Grandmother has all of my great-grandfather's Yale textbooks in her living room. Just think what those little books have seen and been through!
